Sales of the new generation Volvo XC60 2018 crossover have officially started in Russia. The first premiere of the new product in Russia took place in October 2017, at the same time the manufacturer announced the ruble price for the basic configuration of this crossover. But as the price list showed, the basic version will cost 70,000 rubles less than it was announced. The manufacturer has created all the conditions to enter the pricing policy up to 3 million rubles, thereby minimizing the list of competitors. Today, no one can offer a similar package with a set of technologies and a high level of security.
In the Russian market, the new Volvo XC60 2018 crossover will be presented in a complete set with all-wheel drive and 2-liter engines. The buyer will be offered a choice of two gasoline and two diesel engines. Among the petrol engines available are the T6 with 320 horsepower and the T5 with 249 horsepower. Diesel variants of the crossover - D5 with 235 hp. and D4 - 190 horses. Regardless of the selected Volvo XC60 2018 unit, only an 8-speed automatic transmission will be available in a pair. The basic equipment of the new Volvo XC60 2018 Momentum crossover in Russia will be equipped with: modern LED optics, dual-zone climate control, rear parking sensors and a new multimedia system on based on 9 ″ touchscreen display. Also in the list of the basic crossover are:
- heated front seats;
- voice control system;
- ERA-Glonass system;
- adaptive cruise control.
The Volvo XC60 2018 safety system was also not spared. All crossovers include the City Safety safety package, it includes an automatic braking system, a lane departure monitoring system, blind spot monitoring, and Pilot Assist semi-automatic driving. The latter system, on a road with clear markings, can accelerate, brake and steer the steering wheel at speeds up to 130 km / h. But given the state of the markings, this crossover system won't always work.
The price of the new generation Volvo XC60 2018 in the Russian Federation
In total, three different configurations of the Volvo XC60 2018 will be presented on the Russian market, with two gasoline and two diesel units for each version of the crossover. Petrol crossover Volvo XC60 2018 will cost:
- Momentum from 2,925,000 rubles (unit T5) or 3,085,000 rubles (unit T6);
- Inscription from RUB 3,250,000 with a T5 engine and RUB 3,410,000 with a T6 unit;
- R-Design from 3,325,000 rubles (T5) and from 3,485,000 rubles with T6.
Diesel crossovers Volvo XC60 2018 will be much more expensive:
- Volvo XC60 Momentum 2018 starts at 2,995,000 rubles with the D4 engine and from 3,184,000 rubles with the D5 unit;
- diesel equipment Inscription D4 from 3,320,000 rubles (with the D5 engine from 3,509,000 rubles);
- the maximum version of the Volvo XC60 2018 D4 starts at 3,395,000 rubles or 3,584,000 rubles with a D5 engine.
Despite the official start of sales of the new Volvo XC60 2018 crossover in Russia, the first cars from Sweden will be delivered not earlier than the beginning of 2018. Based on the rules, the manufacturer delivered 150 new Volvo XC60 2018 First Edition in top trim levels to dealerships. But this configuration does not fit into the overall price of the crossover, its price starts at 4 million rubles and is considered the highest possible.
