The appearance of new models in the automotive market often changes all existing ratings and any statistics. There can be many reasons for this, the budget of the new model, popularity, or a banal update. As of today, a rating of the TOP-20 of the most popular or, one might even say, purchased cars in Ukraine for the first half of 2018 has been compiled.
The statistics were based on information from dealerships, various publications and, of course, popular sites for the sale of cars. Often, it is precisely such "live" statistics that makes it clear which cars are becoming more popular or more available to the buyer in a particular territory, in our case, throughout Ukraine.
1. Volkswagen Golf 2018
The first place in the rating was given to the new Volkswagen Golf. On the territory of Ukraine, the car is offered in the body of a hatchback and a station wagon, depending on the selected configuration, the drive can be front or full. The fuel consumption indicators of the new items are 5.7-6.3 liters on average in the city, 4.2-4.3 liters on the highway, and 4.8-5 liters in the combined cycle. The penultimate position in the TOP-20 most popular cars in Ukraine was taken by the new Ravon R2 sedan. Not to say that the novelty shines with its exterior design and rich functional interior furnishings, but they remain less popular among motorists for me. The assembly and production of the car was set up in Uzbekistan, at a joint plant with General Motors.
The basis for the new Ravon R4 was the base from the Chevrolet Cobalt. At the buyer's choice, the novelty is offered with a gasoline unit with a volume of 1.5 liters. In tandem, 5 sts can be installed to the engine. mechanical transmission or 6-speed automatic transmission. 20. Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2018
The last 20th position in the rating of the most popular cars in Ukraine was taken by a full-fledged SUV Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. According to the passport data, the new SUV has become 6 cm longer than its predecessor, but this can hardly be seen by eye. As it should be for this class of car, the ground clearance is 215 mm. Under the hood, diesel and gasoline engines paired with a manual or automatic transmission are available to the buyer.
The engineers still retained the SUV's frame structure, permanent four-wheel drive, and the ability to lock the center differential. The luggage compartment is 621 liters. Regarding fuel consumption, here the new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado will surprise you with its economy, in the city the average consumption is 9.7 liters, on the highway - 7 liters, and in the combined cycle - 8 liters. Considering such a large list of cars and different models, we can conclude that Renault has become the most popular brand in Ukraine, presenting 4 of its models in the rating, followed by Toyota. The third place was simultaneously shared by Volkswagen, Nissan and Ravon, presenting two models each in the ranking. Still, the main priority of buying a car on the territory of Ukraine is considered the starting price, set of functions and fuel economy.
