The instability of the economy hit the price tags of new cars. Consider the percentage of the cost markup for the guided cars.
According to research, many car manufacturers in Russia, in connection with the economy, began to frequently change price tags for cars, despite the fact that special offers and other "goodies" are imposed on cars, prices change every day.
According to analysts, from 20.02 to 15.03 this year, about half of the existing representatives of different car brands in Russia changed their prices. For statistics, 49 car brands were taken, as a result, 25 of them changed prices very often.
One of these representatives, the Japanese manufacturer Nissan, has increased the cost of the Almera sedan, which is produced in Russia, by 2.1-2.5%, the Patrol SUV has increased by 4.4-4.6% since the car is imported.
The German manufacturer Volkswagen took one of the most popular sedan in Russia Polo and increased the cost by 2.6-3.7%. This is despite the fact that this car is assembled in Kaluga (Russia). Crossover VW Tiguan increased its value by 1.1-8.3%. Such a difference in percentage is alarming, what will happen next. Volkswagen Passat added 1.4-2.5% in price.
In turn, Korean manufacturers also changed the price tags. One of the popular Kia Cerato models increased in price by 3.5-4.5%, and the Sorento crossover by 2.4-3.3%. The well-known manufacturer Hyundai changed the price for the Genesis sedan, adding 1.3 -2.0%. The Santa Fe Premium crossover added 1.5-2.0% to the price, while the Hyundai i40 sedan rose 1.3-1.9%. The Hyundai i40 station wagon has increased by 1.3-1.7%. One of the most popular and best-selling cars Solaris, which is produced in St. Petersburg, added 5.1-7.6% for the sedan and 5.2-7.8% for the hatchback.
We can say that this is not the whole list, Lexus and Toyota can also be included here. These well-known manufacturers have also increased their prices. At Lexus, most of the price increases came from the NX, RX and LX crossovers.
The American manufacturer Ford decided to hold back prices a little and raised 2-3% of the cost only for cars of 2016, which just rolled off the assembly line. It is not specified how much the price has increased in Audi, but it is reliably known that all car models are without exceptions.
The British did not stand aside and, following their competitors, raised the price for Land Rover - 2.5-8.5% and for Jaguar they increased the price by 3-7%.
According to experts, this list is just beginning and in the near future it is worth expecting another rise in prices for both imported cars, there and those that are produced on the territory of Russia. Rumor has it that price tags can rise by another 2-5% of the existing price.
