Chinese manufacturer MG with British roots has added a new crossover. In the manufacturer's lineup, this is the second crossover that immediately attracted attention. Despite the attitude to the SUV class, the MG ZS 2017-2019 is more SUV. In comparison with the older soplatform GS of the same brand, the new items are more democratic and more compact in size, although both cars are based on the modern SSA platform.

Unlike the first crossover, the new MG ZS 2017-2019 resembles Mazda's crossovers in many details, in particular the CX-3 model of the first releases. This was to be expected, since the Chinese brand copied many details of the original model in order to win over the audience, but also to win at a low price. Despite the fact that this is a copy, the Chinese MG ZS 2017-2019 has got a lot of weighty arguments that competitors do not have in the original model.

For the first time, the MG ZS crossover, the second in the brand's lineup, was presented in November 2016 at the Guangzhou Auto Show. The preliminary sales figures were not the most positive and the forecast was for negative sales, but the economic crisis and the good build quality of the 2017-2019 MG ZS crossover played an opposite, positive role in sales. Starting in November 2017, the car first went on sale in China, two months later it appeared in Russia and in Western Europe.

The radiator grill stands out no less, unlike the original, the designers made it completely chrome, edging and insert. The central part of the grille is occupied by the chrome logo of the company.

The grille itself is stretched forward, which gives it even more style and sporty character.
